Blast Off! Journey Through Our Solar System (All Grades)
Group tour of our current exhibit facilitated by an Explorit educator.
Get ready for launch as Explorit Science Center presents our new exhibit Blast Off! Journey Through Our Solar System. Explore the Sun, Planets, Moons, and other objects in our corner of the cosmos. Experience the energy and forces that control the universe - magnetism, gravity, light and electricity. Suit-up as astronauts in the Explorit Space Station, working in glove boxes to experiment with mass and weight. Visit Blast Off! Journey Through Our Solar System for out of this world science fun.

Inquiry labs help emphasize the importance of experimentation, creativity and group work to the scientific process.
Students, in teams, face multiple open-ended challenges designed and facilitated in a way that stimulates curiosity and problem-solving skills. All labs are aligned with state education standards.

Students participate in an electricity investigation learning how to create simple series circuits. They will work together to solve engineering challenges using lights and motors.

Transform potential energy into kinetic energy with a series of fun science challenges. Use gravity, engineering, and imagination to propel toy cars along tracks students build. Design a course made for a marble to travel from start to finish with no flaws.

Student teams face challenges designed to activate problem solving skills through experimentation and collaboration. -
Nature Safaris
Students embark on on a guided exploration of Mace Ranch Park while discovering the factors that create as well as compromise the local ecosystem.

Nature Safaris
Visit Explorit's Outdoor Spaces. (all grades)

Students experience an outdoor adventure and discover the varied creatures that share Mace Ranch Park. With the help of an Explorit educator, students catch insect specimens, observe local wildlife, and learn about the roles these organisms play in the ecosystem of the park.
